Christina Cavener is the Youth and Children's Minister for Grace. As an undergraduate, she worked with college students at the Denton Wesley Foundation and served as the Assistant Youth Director at First UMC, Rockwall. Upon graduation, she lived in the Democratic Republic of the Congo teaching children at the international school, TESOL, and volunteering at Jamaa Letu Orphanage where she helped a child receive prosthetic legs and provided the orphans' basic needs through donations. Following God's call to pursue theological education, she began classes at SMU Perkins School of Theology and completed a Master of Theological Studies with a graduate certificate in Women's and Gender Studies in May 2011.
