Adult Class & Groups Calendar

Our Classes

Sunday School Classes: 9:30-10:30 AM

Genesis Class: Meets in the Alley’s House (downstairs at the church). The Genesis Class examines passages and parables in the context of Jewish and Roman history and culture in first century Palestine, often with surprising revelations. The class is led by Tom Perkins.

Covenant Class: Meets in the Conference Room. The class is a small group of active thinkers and participants. All opinions are considered and respected. The group has been meeting regularly for over 20 years looking at the social, relational, individual piety, and theological implications of our faith. Currently they are studying women in the Bible. The class is led Don Dillard.

The Explorers: Meets across from the church at the Agape Clinic, in their Community Room, 4104 Junius St. The class has discussed various topics, from TED Talks, videos, books, and more. The class looks at the Biblical and spiritual implications of each topic and is facilitated by members. They are currently studying the biblical figure of Saint Paul.
