Younger Children Class (Ages 3-6)

This class meets on Sunday mornings from 9:30am - 10:30am upstairs in the Godly Play room. Each week we explore Scripture as a class using the Godly Play model of learning. Godly Play encourages children, through the use of spiritual practice, to explore the mystery of God’s presence by listening for God and to create authentic and creative responses to God’s call in their lives.

Class Schedule:

Sunday, August 4th - Creation

Sunday, August 11th - The Flood and the Ark

Sunday, August 18th - The Great Family

Sunday, August 25th - The Exodus

Sunday, September 1st - The Ten Best Ways

Sunday, September 8th - The Ark and the Tent

Sunday, September 15th - The Ark and the Temple

Sunday, September 22nd - Exile and Return

Sunday, September 29th - Jonah and the Backwards Prophet

Older Children Class (Ages 7-12)

Our older children class meets each week upstairs in the Sunday school rooms. Currently, this class is exploring Scripture from the lectionary readings in interactive ways. We use the Episcopal Church’s “Lesson Plans That Work” curriculum, which seeks to use practical approaches for teachers to engage children in ways that foster thoughtful discussion, creativity, and spiritual growth.

Class Schedule:

Sunday, September 8th - TBA

Sunday, September 15th - TBA

Sunday, September 22nd - TBA

Sunday, September 29th - TBA
