East Dallas Christian Church (EDCC) has hosted a joint VBS the last few years, and that tradition continues in partnership with Grace United Methodist Church. Each summer, Vacation Bible School (VBS) is a special time for children to grow in their faith, build friendships, and discover God's love through engaging Bible lessons, music, games, crafts, and fun activities. We look forward to welcoming children and families for future opportunities to learn, grow, and celebrate God's love together. Volunteers are always needed. Help Us Make a Difference! Children’s Sunday School (Ages 3 – 10)

This class meets on Sunday mornings from 9:30am - 10:30am upstairs in the Godly Play room. Each week we explore Scripture as a class using the Godly Play model of learning. Godly Play encourages children, through the use of spiritual practice, to explore the mystery of God’s presence by listening for God and to create authentic and creative responses to God’s call in their lives.

Nursery & Childcare

Available for ages 0 to 3 during Sunday school and worship. Ages 3 to 6 attend Godly Play during the Sunday school hour (9:30am - 10:30am). The nursery is staffed by two trained adult caregivers and is located on the ground level next to the sanctuary.

Adult Volunteers

At Grace we graciously rely on the gifts and service of adult volunteers who offer their time, creativity, and energy to support the spiritual growth of our children.
